Features and scope

The main components of Yunis adhesives are almost the same. They contain cement, mineral filler and modifying components. Plain or quartz sand, dolomite or gypsum are used as fillers. Special additives give the mixture certain properties, for example, they enhance adhesion, make it more plastic, frost-resistant, waterproof, etc.

All Eunice mixtures are certified in accordance with the standards and legislation of the Russian Federation. Suitable for use in preschool institutions, food factories, medical institutions.

The compositions exhibit good adhesive properties in relation to the following materials:

Eunice tile mixture is used in dry and damp rooms. Some types of adhesives can level surfaces with minor defects and differences in height. The use of Eunice moisture-resistant compounds is possible even in places of direct contact with water (baths, saunas, swimming pools, bathrooms).

Advantages

Advantages and disadvantages

The main advantages of the Eunice adhesive mixture:

• High level of elasticity, suitable for fixing to a moving base (for example, wood). Fills in all the unevenness.
• Good adhesion, provides strong and reliable adhesion to the base. Allows you to lay it from bottom to top and prevents it from slipping.
• Wide range of applications. Suitable for external and internal work.
• High heat resistance allows the adhesive mixture to be used for heated floor coverings. It does not heat up due to high temperatures, and the fixation does not become worse.
• Dries quickly.

However, it has a number of disadvantages. These include the speed of drying - it will have to be diluted in small portions, which takes a lot of time. If this is not done, it will lose most of its properties, and the master will waste his money.

Flaws

• Most adhesives are gray in color, so they cannot be used for laying transparent and semi-transparent tiles.
• For classic mixtures, the maximum weight of glued tiles is 100 kg/m. sq.
• The base needs careful preparation.
• On surfaces with defects and height differences of more than 0.5-0.7 cm, use without leveling the base is not recommended. Leveling mixtures are used.
• You cannot work in frosty weather.

Varieties

Powdered compositions and adhesives are packaged in sealed paper containers of 5 and 25 kg.

Bags should be stored in dry rooms on wooden pallets to prevent them from becoming damp.

Eunice Plus

Used for laying tiles of any type. Porcelain stoneware, mosaic, stone are glued. This is the most durable tile composition of the entire line.

The strength of Yunis Plus is 1.25 MPa, it can withstand up to 1 kg of facing material per 1 sq. m.

The main purpose of the glue is to tile and porcelain tile indoors, externally, except for the basement cladding, to install heated floors and to lay tiles on complex substrates, including old cladding.

The composition is harmless, so it can be used in children's institutions.

You can attach tiles to the following bases:

• concrete;
• cellular concrete;
• cement;
• brickwork;

• gypsum;

• gypsum fiber board.

Unis 2000

Yunis 2000 is designed for installation of ceramic tiles and porcelain tiles with a side size of 600 mm. It is used indoors and outdoors. They glue tiles to vertical and horizontal planes, to concrete, plaster, cement, brick. The composition evens out surface defects and height differences with a depth of no more than 1.5 cm. They are used in medical, preventive and children's institutions.

Yunis 21

Used for regular tiles indoors and outdoors, on horizontal and vertical planes. Cerogranite (ceramic granite) can only be planted on the floor, provided that its size does not exceed 30x30 cm.

Yunis 21 is a frost-resistant adhesive that can be used in freezing and damp rooms without constant contact with liquid. Exposure to frost is allowed no earlier than 4 weeks after installation.

• The adhesive made in Moscow is intended only for interior decoration.

Eunice Hitech

Used for fastening complex cladding on ceilings, walls, and floor surfaces. Laying of material from bottom to top and top to bottom is allowed. The composition has an increased solution life and setting time. Can be used in medical and children's institutions.

Eunice Granite

Eunice Belfix

Thanks to its white color, Eunice Belfix is ​​used when installing glass mosaics, marble, natural stone and other types of complex cladding for which classic cement compositions are not suitable. The tiles are mounted on walls, floors (including heated ones), in damp rooms.

Unis Fix

Eunice Fix is ​​the cheapest and weakest adhesive in the Eunice line.

It is purchased for laying horizontal and vertical planes with regular tiles. Can be used in conditions of high dampness. Has high consumption.

Eunice Pool

Sticks to stone, ceramic tiles, mosaics in damp rooms and water containers. Eunice Pool sealant is used for exterior and interior decoration, and in complex structures. Installation on old cladding is allowed, suitable for laying heated floors.

Warm glue

Thermal insulating Yunis is used to reinforce bases, make a backing of mineral wool, glass wool, expanded polystyrene, fix marble, ceramics, tiles, finish stoves and fireplaces. To prevent fungus, before applying Warm Adhesive, the base is treated with a primer.

Hot glue is applied manually or by machine. This is an elastic composition that can be used to work with deformed bases. It does not disrupt the air exchange in materials, therefore it is used to create breathable surfaces.

Recommended for fixing fibrous thermal insulation with increased vapor permeability.

The finished composition is easy to use, it is plastic, and does not emit toxic fumes when heated.

Eunice Horizon

Often called "liquid linoleum".

Designed for pouring floors. Forms a seamless surface, evens out differences of up to 0.1 cm. The composition can be used to level the floor, screed and load-bearing bases manually or by machine. Eunice Horizon is suitable for thick- and thin-layer leveling and installation of warm, floating floors. Use is possible in heated rooms that do not freeze.

Rapido

Designed for gluing tiles up to 600x600 mm in size on horizontal and vertical planes in damp, dry rooms, with or without heating. Suitable for external cladding, gluing porcelain tiles, and used when installing heated floors. Thanks to its high adhesion, Rapido is used for cladding on staircases, flights, industrial workshops, warehouses, plinths and on the entrance elements of buildings.

U 100

Highly elastic adhesive U100 can be used to lay all types of tiles, clinker, porcelain tiles, and stone.

The base can be cement, gypsum plaster, screed, old concrete, including cellular concrete, gas silicate, plasterboard, chipboard, OSB, painted surfaces. Due to the high strength and ability of the glue to withstand heavy loads, it is used for cladding industrial, administrative, and shopping halls, for arranging parking lots, at train stations, at airports, and on stairs. The composition is heat-resistant, so it is used to glue finishing on stoves, fireplaces, and is used when installing heated floors.

Maxiflex

A super-elastic mixture that is used to glue tile finishes to complex, deformed bases, young concrete, wood boards, to finish plinths, steps, flights of stairs, and rooms subject to long-term loads.

Super Plus

The product glues any types of tiles and cladding subject to high loads to deformed and non-deformed substrates. It is permissible to plant porcelain stoneware up to 70x70 cm in size. The composition retains its shelf life after application for up to 30 years.

Scope of use

The scope of application of glue is very wide. Yunis is suitable for repair work inside and outside the building, reliably fixing the material to the base.

The safe composition and the absence of a sharp unpleasant odor allows the adhesive solution to be used for cladding medical and children's institutions and houses.

The high level of heat resistance allows you to use Eunice when installing heated floors. Frost resistance makes it possible to lay porcelain stoneware or natural stone on building facades.

Types of adhesive mixtures from Unis and technical characteristics

The most popular adhesives in the Unis line are Unis Plus and Unis 2000. The company also produces specialized compounds and progressive adhesives made using the most modern technologies. All adhesives are packaged in packages of 5 and 25 kg. It is important to store any mixture correctly: leave it only in a dry room, and on a wooden pallet so that it does not get damp. The shelf life under proper conditions is 12 months.

"Unis Plus"

The composition of Unis Plus in red packaging is familiar to all professional tilers. It is suitable for all types of tiles - regular, porcelain stoneware, mosaic, stone, and is positioned as an adhesive for complex substrates. The manufacturer recommends using the product when finishing facades with porcelain stoneware, laying tiles on tiles, and installing heated floors. There are limitations in operation only when finishing the base and deformable bases; for this purpose it is better to choose a specialized composition.

The strength of the adhesive is very high - 1.25 MPa, it can easily withstand the load of tiles weighing more than 100 kg per square meter. Other technical parameters of “Unis Plus”:

• solution life cycle – 3 hours;
• time for laying tiles after applying the mortar is 20 minutes;
• tile adjustment time – 10 minutes;

• period until complete hardening – 24 hours;
• layer thickness – 3-15 mm.

One bag weighing 25 kg consumes 5-5.5 liters of water, that is, the ratio of dry powder to liquid is approximately 5:1. The finished coating can be used at temperatures of -35…+70 degrees.

"Unis 2000"

This is another well-known composition from Unis in black packaging. This tile adhesive is intended for external and internal use, is highly durable, glues and levels differences in height up to 15 mm. Due to its excellent adhesive ability, the product can be used not only for standard tiles, but also for porcelain stoneware, stone up to 60*60 cm in size. “Unis 2000” can be used on durable, non-deformable bases when finishing floors, walls inside and outside buildings, but only on unheated surfaces. The scope of application of the glue also extends to:

• building facades above the basement;
• rooms with high humidity;
• balconies and terraces.

Unis 2000 differs from the previous product in the reduced working time of the solution after it is applied to the surface: the tiles need to be laid in 10, not 20 minutes. The viability of the solution is also less - 2 hours, and the retained weight of the tile per 1 square meter of area is up to 80 kg. Glue adhesion is also below 1 MPa. This tile adhesive allows it to be used in more severe conditions; it does not deteriorate from use at temperatures of -50...+50 degrees.

"Yunis 21"

This type of economical, moisture-resistant adhesive is intended for tiling bathrooms and kitchens; it is suitable for floors and walls, but is not used for porcelain tiles and slabs larger than 30*30 cm. In addition to wet rooms, the product is also useful for freezing rooms. "Unis 21" is produced in two varieties - only for interior work or for exterior and interior work. The difference between them is the adhesion indicators (0.5 and 0.7 MPa) and the maximum thickness of the adhesive layer (10 and 15 mm).

The technical parameters are:

• adjustment time – 10 minutes;

The finished coating can be used at temperatures of -50...+50 degrees, although freezing can be allowed only a month after applying the adhesive layer. "Unis 21" can withstand high air humidity, but does not tolerate constant contact with water.

"Unis" HiTech

This adhesive is used for finishing complex substrates. To create it, new technologies are used to improve the quality of adhesion to tiles. Using glue, you can mount tile coverings not only on vertical bases and floors, but also on ceiling surfaces and ceilings. It is permissible to lay tiles using the top-down method.

The characteristics of the product are as follows:

• layer thickness – 3-15 mm;
• approximate consumption per square meter – 3.5 kg;
• frost resistance – up to 35 cycles;
• holding weight – 50 kg/sq.m. m.

The viability of the solution has been seriously increased - it is 300 minutes, the adjustment has also increased to 15 minutes, and the working time after applying the solution is 25 minutes. You can use the coating after a day, as is the case with other adhesives of the brand.

"Yunis Granite"

The adhesive has an extremely strong hold and is intended for large slabs, massive elements made of stone and porcelain stoneware. “Unis Granite” is used even for tiles larger than 60*60 cm, and allows finishing plinths and facades, walls and floors, and various complex bases. The level of adhesion of the composition is very high - 1.5 MPa, which is much higher than that of analogues, and allows you to lay new tiles even on old ones.

"Unis Granite" has a low consumption - up to 3.5 kg per square meter, which is associated with the small recommended layer thickness (3-10 mm). The finished portion of the solution will not deteriorate within 3 hours, and the position of the tile can be adjusted in 10 minutes. 24 hours must pass before walking on the tile begins, and only then can it be fully used. The frost resistance of the glue is 35 cycles.

"Eunice Belfix"

White tile adhesive of the Eunice Belfix brand is intended for light mosaics, porcelain tiles and glass mosaics. It provides reliable fixation and filling of seams, guarantees increased frost resistance - up to 75 cycles. Belfix is ​​usually used when the standard gray mixture is not suitable. The product is characterized by high elasticity and resistance to negative temperatures. It can also be used for grouting joints.

The characteristics of Belfix are as follows:

• operating temperatures – -50…+70 degrees;
• time before operation – 24 hours;
• layer thickness – up to 10 mm;
• the solution is ready for use – 3 hours;
• adjustment time – 15 minutes.

Using glue, you can finish water tanks, walls and floors in rooms with high humidity. It is suitable for outdoor and indoor use.

Unis Fix

This composition for tiles and mosaic tiles has an average level of adhesion (0.5 MPa), but is cheaper than other Unis brand products. The adhesive is intended for covering uneven surfaces, bases in the kitchen, bathroom, balconies and terraces. It is permissible to apply glue in a layer of 3-15 mm, and it is desirable that the indicator be close to the upper limit (due to this, the consumption increases to 5 kg per square meter). Other technical parameters:

• solution lifetime – 180 minutes;
• adjustment time – 10 minutes;
• working time of the solution after application is 10 minutes;
• period before operation – days;
• frost resistance – 75 cycles;
• operating temperatures - -50...+70 degrees.

"Yunis Pool"

Unis Pool glue is used for fixing tiled, mosaic, ceramic and stone tiles in exterior and interior work. It perfectly adheres the coating even on difficult substrates, in freezing rooms, in swimming pools and other water reservoirs. The product is suitable for finishing heated floors and laying new tiles on top of the previous ones. It is important to observe the limitation on the size of the elements: you cannot work with Unis Pool glue with tiles larger than 60*60 cm.

Glue consumption usually does not exceed 3.1 kg/sq.m. m, because it is applied in a layer of 3-6 mm, no more. The standard time for adjusting tiles is 10 minutes, as is the period before the surface starts to be used – 24 hours. The adhesion of the composition is 0.5 MPa, the retained weight of the tile is 60 kg per square meter. Frost resistance – 35 cycles.

"Warm glue"

The plaster-adhesive mixture for thermal insulation systems is used indoors and outdoors, intended for reinforcing various bases and installing an insulating layer of polystyrene foam, glass wool, and mineral wool. Using “Teplokley” you can reliably fasten marble, tiles, ceramics, tiles; it is also suitable for lining stoves and fireplaces. To protect the bases from fungus, it is recommended to use a Yunis brand primer in parallel.

The adhesive is used for manual and machine application. It has excellent elasticity, making it suitable even for deformable substrates. The glue does not interfere with gas exchange and can be used in the construction of breathable coatings. The main characteristics are:

• layer thickness – 2-15 mm;
• consumption – 3.5-4.5 kg per square meter;
• frost resistance – 75 cycles;
• adhesion – 1 MPa;
• open operating time – 20 minutes;
• water absorption – 5%;

“Unis Thermal Adhesive” can be used for almost any type of thermal insulation with different absorbency, weight, and density, which is due to the high adhesion force to the bases. It is especially recommended to buy glue for attaching fibrous thermal insulation, which has increased vapor permeability. The finished solution is plastic, easy to use, and does not emit harmful substances when heated.

"Unice Horizon"

“Horizon” from “Yunis” is a product for filling floors, which is why it is often called “liquid linoleum”. After thinning and application, a seamless coating is created that can even out height differences of up to 100 mm. The adhesive is used for manual and machine leveling of floors, screeds, and can be used on load-bearing substrates. “Horizon” is suitable for thick-layer and thin-layer leveling, warm and floating floor systems. Suitable for frost-free, heated rooms with any humidity.

Glue characteristics:

• filler fraction – up to 1 mm;
• consumption at minimum thickness – up to 3 kg/sq.m. m;
• viability of the solution – 0.5 hours;

Due to the short time required for walking, Unis Horizon is used to apply a finishing coating or screed in one application, which significantly speeds up the repair process.

Rapido

The modern adhesive composition Rapido is designed for different types of tiles up to 60*60 cm in size, which can be laid on floors and walls in wet, dry, unheated and heated rooms. The adhesive is also suitable for exterior work; it is usually used for cladding buildings. A high degree of adhesion (1 MPa) allows Rapido to be used for the following surfaces:

• entrance groups to buildings;
• staircases and flights;
• industrial workshops;
• warehouses;
• plinths.

You can lay tiles and porcelain stoneware with glue, even in underfloor heating systems and on an old base. Its parameters:

U 100

Highly elastic adhesive U 100 is suitable for different types of tiles - ceramics, clinker, porcelain stoneware, stone, and for all formats. The product is suitable for external and internal work on deformable and non-deformable substrates:

• cement, gypsum plasters;
• screeds;
• concrete more than 2 months old;
• cellular concrete;
• gas silicate;
• GKL, PGP, GVL;
• cement particle boards;
• OSB;
• painted surfaces.

The adhesive can withstand the heaviest loads, which is why it is widely used for finishing industrial, administrative, and commercial premises, parking lots and stairs, train stations and airports. The composition is suitable for installation of heated floors, lining of stoves, fireplaces. The adhesion level of U 100 is very high - 1.8 MPa, the glue can easily withstand operation at temperatures of -60...+120 degrees. The tile adjustment time has been seriously increased and is 1 hour, the frost resistance of the adhesive is 100 cycles.

"Maxiflex"

Maxiflex glue is a new product among Unis products. This super-elastic adhesive is designed specifically for deformable and complex substrates, including young concrete and wood boards. Using glue, you can finish plinths, steps and landings of stairs, rooms subject to the heaviest loads (including metro stations).

Unlike other adhesives in the line, Maxiflex is packaged in 20 kg packages. Its consumption is small - from 1.25 kg/square meter, it can withstand 100 cycles of freezing and defrosting. The recommended layer thickness is less than 1 cm. The finished coating can be used at temperatures of -40...+100 degrees. The degree of adhesion to the base is high - 1.8 MPa.

"Super Plus"

This type of glue is used for any non-deformable and deformable substrates. With its help, you can finish surfaces subject to high loads with all types of tiles. The maximum size of porcelain tiles that can be glued to “Super Plus” without additional mechanical fastening is 70*70 cm. The technical parameters are as follows:

• adhesion – 1.3 MPa;
• time for laying and adjusting tiles – 20 minutes;
• layer thickness – 2-25 mm;
• viability of the solution – 3 hours;
• time before surface use – 24 hours;
• frost resistance – 100 cycles;
• operating temperatures – -40…+80 degrees.

Instructions for use

You can start laying work at an air temperature of +5...+30°C. Humidity indoors or outdoors should not exceed 75%.

Surface preparation

1. Cleaning the surface of old finishes, removing crumbling plaster or screed.
2. Leveling the base. Height differences of no more than 0.1 cm per 1 square meter are allowed not to be leveled. All defects whose depth exceeds this indicator are plastered. The Yunis company provides a wide range of plaster mixtures. If the surface is not leveled, the adhesive composition will be applied and dry unevenly, which causes the tiles to peel off and cracks to appear on it.
3. When the tile cladding is laid on the old coating, notches are made every 50 mm in a checkerboard pattern to increase adhesion.
4. The base is degreased and dried.
5. When working in damp, basement areas, it is recommended to waterproof with mastic.
6. The base is primed 1-2 times. Overly porous surfaces are primed especially carefully.

There is no need to pre-soak the tiles and base.

Mixing the solution

Dilute Eunice only in clean containers. The dry mixture must be diluted with water. The proportion of powder and liquid is indicated on the glue packaging. Next, the composition is thoroughly kneaded until smooth for about 3-5 minutes. The mixture is left at rest to ripen for 3-5 minutes. and mixes again.

You can dilute it manually or with construction tools (mixer, drill with attachment). Using the manual method, no more than 1 kg of the mixture is diluted at a time. The diluted glue is used within a maximum of 3 hours, otherwise it thickens. To give the composition a working consistency, it is kneaded again with a mixer without adding liquid.

If you change the proportions during cooking or add other ingredients, the adhesion of the glue will weaken.

Applying glue

• The mixture is applied to the base with a trowel or spatula. A layer 0.3-1.5 cm thick is leveled with the serrated side of a spatula or a grater-comb. When working with large tiles, use a spatula with teeth more than 0.8 cm high. The weight of the tiles should not exceed the maximum permissible value.
• The tile is pressed against the applied adhesive layer. The distribution of the composition should be uniform without the formation of voids; this is achieved by pressing wave-like on the tiled surface or by tapping it with a rubber hammer.
• When the material is laid within 15-20 minutes, it is possible to correct its position and level it. To ensure that the seams have the same thickness, special crosses are used.

The glue is applied to the surface area that will be covered during the viability of the mixture.

For outdoor work, when installing large tiles, marble slabs or when gluing onto a porous, embossed surface, the composition is applied not only to the base, but also to the back of the tile.

The drying time of the glue depends on its type, layer thickness and other factors, but on average, within a day you can start rubbing the seams. When the tiles are laid on a warm floor, the heating turns on only after 4 weeks.

Flow calculator

Typically, all work with glue is carried out using a notched trowel, because products of the Unis brand do not require continuous application. The teeth leave empty grooves, therefore, glue consumption is reduced. To prevent it from rising, it is better to first treat uneven bases with plaster.

The working layer should not exceed 15 mm, its minimum thickness is 2-3 mm. Typically, if you have a spatula with teeth 6.2 * 6.2 cm in size, the consumption varies from 3.5 to 4.8 kg with the greatest thickness of the seam. A spatula, whose teeth measure 3.1*3.1 cm, “takes up” less glue – up to 3.5 kg. Do not violate the proportions - dilute the glue with water strictly according to the instructions for use. Otherwise, consumption may change upward. Preparing too large portions of the solution also negatively affects efficiency: if you do not have time to use up the glue, it will deteriorate.

Advice from professional craftsmen

• The longer the composition is mixed, the shorter its lifespan. The reduction entails a reduction in the time allotted for working with the composition and further adjustment of the position of the material. It is optimal to mix with a construction mixer at low speed.
• To ensure that the seams are the same, plastic crosses or special clamps are installed.
• The size of the trowel teeth depends on the size of the tile. The larger the perimeter of the material, the higher the teeth.
• The mixture cannot be applied to the entire base at once. The prepared solution is spread on a part of the surface that the master will have time to paste over in 10-15 minutes, otherwise the glue will lose its characteristics. It is advisable to glue the tiles immediately after applying the mixture.

Price of Eunice adhesives
