Moment Super-epoxy transparent

Reliably fastens any materials and their combinations. Does not shrink or expand once cured and can be painted, polished, sanded, drilled or milled. Oil- and water-resistant, resistant to solvents. The adhesive joint holds equally well when used both indoors and outdoors.

Gelatinization occurs 5 minutes after mixing component A with component B, so you need to act quickly, and for this you need to prepare the work front in advance. The initial hardening occurs within an hour, after which light use of the glued parts is possible. Complete polymerization, with formed polymer bonds, occurs a day after joining the parts with an adhesive seam.

It goes on sale in the form of a blister pack, the volume of components is 2 and 6 ml.

Instructions for use

First you need to prepare the surfaces and roughen them. Only then does the adhesive composition open. When connecting parts, the mixture is applied to only one side, and then the parts are tightly compressed, fixing for at least 10-15 minutes. It is better to use repaired items 24 hours after gluing.

Excess drops must be removed immediately before the layer hardens. This can be done with a clean sponge soaked in any solvent.

After drying, the stain can only be removed mechanically, which is dangerous due to damage to the surface of the parts themselves.

Super epoxy metal

Moment Super-epoxy metal is designed specifically for bonding metals and their alloys. After final polymerization, it is not subject to compression or expansion. Oil- and water-resistant, does not react to accidental ingress of solvents into the environment.

It can reliably bond glass, porcelain, wood and other materials or combinations thereof, but its formula is mainly adapted to metals.

Application area:

• Metal heating pipes and metal water pipes.
• Quick connection and repair of metal machine parts if they do not experience extreme loads.
• Repair of crankcases and engine housings.
• It is not recommended for gluing containers in which food is stored or from which food is taken.
• Not suitable for joining polypropylene, polyethylene and Teflon.

Blister packaging, in sealed tubes of 2 and 6 ml. Stored at a temperature range from 0°C to 26°C degrees; in case of freezing, keep for several minutes in warm water, up to 40°C degrees. Shelf life 36 months.

Varieties

Epoxy glue is available in different volumes with different preparation methods. The most convenient for small household work is a syringe. The presence of additional components in the composition determines the use of the composition to solve specific problems, for example, the super epoxy epoxy moment creates a durable seam that can be painted and polished.

Moment Super Epoxy Transparent

Transparent universal glue. The finished seam remains resistant to solvents, oils, moisture and household chemicals. The required strength can be obtained within an hour after connecting and fixing the parts. The glue is in demand for the reconstruction of porcelain, crystal, earthenware, and glass bases. It can be used to bond fiberglass and plastic surfaces. It seals cracks in walls and floors and hides gaps.

You can remove excess glue from the surface only before it has hardened. In a liquid consistency, excess can be removed with a solvent. After hardening, a scraper will help. The hardening stage takes about 3 minutes.

Available in 6 ml syringes. The resin and hardener are already dosed and you can prepare the mixture by gradually squeezing the components in equal parts from the syringe.

Moment Super Epoxy Metal

Suitable for repairing metal structures and alloys. After the seam has dried, it can be painted, polished, or drilled. At the same time, the reliability of the connection and insulation will remain the same. The adhesive mixture can be used indoors or outdoors. Hardening of the joints can be observed within 5 minutes after application. The adhesive is suitable for objects subject to vibration. The composition is available in separate 6 ml bottles on a blister card.

Before applying glue, the surfaces must be treated with sandpaper and degreased (acetone or gasoline). After preparing the glue, you only have 1-2 minutes to apply it. Afterwards, the composition begins to harden quickly. The connected parts must be compressed tightly, fixed for 2-5 minutes, and left alone for at least 24 hours.

Moment Super Epoxy Formula 1

It features a mixer attachment. It is suitable for pottery, crystal, pearls and gemstones. There are no solvents in the composition, so it hardens quickly. The quality of the result corresponds to cold welding. The finished seam maintains its integrity when exposed to moisture and vibration, and is not afraid of sudden temperature changes.

The mixture is odorless. To prepare the glue, you need to cut off the tip of the syringe and attach the mixer attachment. The composition must be applied to both surfaces and connected. You need to fix the seam for at least a day. After hardening, excess glue can only be removed mechanically.

Moment Super Epoxy Formula 5

A special mixer attachment allows you to mix the components without additional containers and does not require contact with the skin of your hands. You won't need any tools either. The composition is best for working with dents, cracks and chips on surfaces. The composition begins to harden within 5 minutes, and after another 8 hours the finished seam can be polished, drilled and painted. It is with its help that building materials are restored.

Moment Epoxylin 2 in 1

Used as putty. The composition is beige in color, without the addition of solvents. It can be used for working with wood, ceramics, cork, on brick surfaces and plaster, for example:

• for fixing towel rails and mirrors in the bathroom;
• repair of spice racks;
• filling cracks and pores in concrete;
• furniture restoration;
• restoring tightness in pipes and heaters (eliminating water leaks).

For gluing, the surfaces can be made rough. The composition can be used at room temperature, but not higher than +25 °C. When gluing large surfaces, the glue must be applied in several points. After filling the cracks, you need to immediately level the surface. Hardening of the layer occurs even under water. Ketone, ethanol or any other solvent is suitable for removing residues. Available in cylindrical containers of 48 g. For storage, it is better to choose places protected from direct sunlight.

Moment Epoxylin Mini

They restore the tightness of blood vessels, fill dents, cracks and chips. After drying and curing, the volume of the applied seam remains virtually unchanged. When gluing parts, glue should be applied to only one of the surfaces. It contains no solvents, so the seam dries quickly.

You need to work with glue in well-ventilated areas. Gloves can be used to protect your hands. The composition should be kept away from children and avoid getting it into the eyes. Not suitable for gluing utensils used for cooking.

Moment Super Epoxylin

Available in a plastic cylindrical tube. Two-component glue. In this case, the containers are located one inside the other. To prepare it, the composition must be kneaded and mixed thoroughly. The result should be plastic and dense at the same time. After hardening, the seam becomes very hard and durable.

Moment Epoxiline Metal

Suitable for metal surfaces and alloys. Before use, you need to cut off the required amount of glue. The remainder should be wrapped in protective film. The product must be kneaded to a homogeneous consistency similar to plasticine with a beige color. Afterwards, the master has 3 minutes to apply putty and connect the parts. The composition hardens within 10 minutes after kneading. The glue can be stored in its original packaging for 2 years in a dry, dark place. After drying, excess Epoxy Metal can only be removed with a scraper.

Moment Epoxylin Duo

Moment Epoxylin Duo is a two-component composition in the form of gray plasticine. It is in demand for sealing pipes and water containers. The glue kneads easily and hardens quickly. You can firmly fasten broken parts, such as a fallen table corner or chair leg. After hardening, the seam is not afraid of exposure to water, solvents and acidic components. Maximum layer strength after 15 minutes. It is better to remove excess glue from the surface before it dries. It can be stored at temperatures above zero. The shelf life is 3 years from the date of issue.

Super-epoxy Formula 1

Original packaging in a monotube, divided inside into sealed cavities containing the resin compound and hardener. Mixing of the components occurs at the moment the glue is supplied through two tubes isolated from each other at the very exit to the outside. Thanks to the complex shape of the nozzles, the mixing is vortex and very reliable, without inhomogeneities, which ensures uniform hardening of the mixture. Used for external and internal work.

Gelatinization occurs within 2-3 minutes, and initial hardening, after which you can confidently use the glued product, occurs after 8 hours, at a temperature range of 20-25°C degrees.

Formula 1 finds various applications not related to repairing food utensils or gluing Teflon, polypropylene or polyethylene.

The release form is a blister in which a 14 ml syringe tube is sealed. Store the glue in a tightly screwed tube at a temperature of 10°C to 30°C degrees. Shelf life is one and a half years.

Super-epoxy transparent in a syringe

The release form of this glue is also mono-packaging with simultaneous supply of resin compound and hardener. The different diameters of the outlet nozzles of these two components ensure a dosed supply of components, which is important for proper mixing.

Reliable and durable bonding of almost any materials: glass, porcelain, earthenware, metals and their alloys, concrete, natural stone, crystal, fiberglass, cork, polycarbonate, polyamide, fabrics, as well as all their combinations. It does not glue only non-wettable materials such as Teflon or polypropylene, with which adhesion is impossible even after roughening the surfaces.

The optimal application option is to seal cracks, chips, and gaps after other adhesive materials.

Super-Epoxy Formula 5

Super effective on contact with any material except those not recommended for epoxy: rubber, silicone, Teflon, polypropylene. Single-tube syringe with a mixer attachment for simultaneous supply of compound and hardener, packed in a sealed blister.

After polymerization, the adhesive is not subject to shrinkage or expansion, and is also not afraid of moisture, technical oil and active solvents.

Gelatinization occurs already in the 5th minute after the glue is applied to pre-treated surfaces, and after half a day the repaired products can be used.

Gluing dissimilar materials is allowed: porcelain, metals and their alloys, wood, paper, fabrics, etc. Packaging – a combined tube of 14 ml, sealed in a blister.

Compound

The main component is epoxy resin.

Additional elements are selected depending on technical requirements. For example, adding oils and solvents helps keep the mixture liquid for longer. The joint hardens as soon as they evaporate after application.

Two-part epoxy adhesive is first prepared by mixing epoxy resin and hardener in precise proportions. Components are sold in separate containers.

This must be done immediately before use so that the composition does not have time to harden and become unusable.

Moment-Epoxylin 2 in 1

Super strong connection of any materials, from metals to paper. It is a cylinder of putty in which, under the outer layer of a compound with filler, which can be of any color, there is a second isolated layer of hardener. When cutting off part of the cylinder and kneading the plasticine-like putty with wet hands, a thermochemical reaction of initial polymerization begins.

You will have about 5 minutes to apply the composition to the surfaces to be bonded, and after 10 minutes from the start of the reaction, the composition will initially harden, and it will no longer be possible to work with it further. Therefore, you need to be careful when separating the required portion and have time to do everything within 5 minutes.

After 70 minutes, the strength of the adhesive seam becomes sufficient for not very intensive use, or at least to remove a vice or clamp, and after 8 hours the glue reaches 50% of the declared strength.

Epoxy-Mini 2 in 1

A version of Epoxilin, divided into 6 mini servings, ready to use.

It is the same two-component cylinders as in Epoxylin, only in the form of ready-made portions for gluing. They also need to be kneaded with wet fingers and quickly, before the expiration of 5 minutes, applied to the surfaces to be glued, previously degreased with alcohol or acetone.

Completely hardens in 10 minutes. After 70 minutes it gains sufficient density and hardness for external influence, and after 2 hours it gains 50% of the calculated hardness.

Super-Epoxylin Cold Welding

With this glue you can not only glue disparate parts, but also mold missing fragments of household products: a broken corner of a table, a missing fragment of a chair leg, a chipped piece of the ebonite handle of a kitchen knife or hatchet.

The required portion of epoxylin is cut off with a knife and kneaded with wet hands. After the mashed composition becomes warm due to the thermochemical reaction that has begun, it is applied to the desired location and leveled, giving it the intended shape. After complete hardening, which occurs after 10 hours, residual roughness can be removed by grinding, polishing or other types of mechanical action.

Glues any materials and their combinations, except those that are not amenable to wetting, and therefore adhesion, by adhesive components: polypropylene, Teflon, silicone, rubber, polyethylene. Available in a box with five 48 gram glue cylinders.

What glue is the safest?

Are you going to mend a broken mug? Don't rush, most modern adhesives are hazardous to health.

It's no secret that many of the building materials are potentially hazardous to health. And not because they were produced in violation of manufacturing technology, but because during operation they emit volatile chemicals that negatively affect human well-being.

Thus, many paints and varnishes, removers for various purposes are considered harmful to health... as well as most modern adhesives.

All adhesives are divided into:

organic (plant and animal origin, for example, starch paste or wood glue) inorganic (silicate glues) synthetic (PVA, BF, “Moment”, “Superglue”, epoxy glue and others)

Superglue: especially dangerous

The latter among all glues are the most dangerous. They contain solvents such as acetone, phenol, dichloroethane, gasoline, etc., which are released into the environment when gluing, which, of course, is unacceptable if there is a small child in the house.

Caution: epoxy glue!

Epoxy adhesives are considered the most environmentally unfavorable - they can be easily recognized by their packaging containing two tubes, the contents of which must be mixed before use. Epoxy adhesives can cause contact skin diseases (therefore you need to work with them with gloves), and also have a negative effect on the nervous system and liver, irritate the mucous membrane of the eyes and respiratory tract. In a house where small children live, as well as people suffering from allergic diseases, obstructive bronchitis and bronchial asthma, it is better not to use them.

PVA: safe for repairs and children's creativity

The only recognized safe glue from the group of synthetic glues is PVA. It is approved for use in children's institutions as a creative material from 2 years of age. It does not contain toxic substances, is harmless to the skin, fire and explosion proof. So you can safely use it both in kindergarten and at home - and not only to make applications with your child.

The scope of application of PVA is very wide. It can be used to glue (in different combinations) paper, cardboard, wood (chipboard, fiberboard, plywood), light foam materials (foam plastic), etc. Therefore, this glue is indispensable both if you need to glue a strip of old piece parquet, and for gluing serpyanka when sealing cracks, and when laying floor coverings (linoleum, carpet). Broken “seams” on paper wallpaper, cracks on unglazed porcelain, foam ceiling panels, wooden structures - PVA glue is simply ideal for all of this.

Organic glue: old fashioned but harmless

Organic adhesives are also safe to use. But there is so much hassle with them that such adhesives are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Although our mothers and grandmothers still remember how they took bars of wood glue, crushed them, brewed them in water and glued together what they needed with this liquid composition, even they, with the modern development of technology, will not want to repeat this process again.

Firstly, such glues take a long time to prepare (the aforementioned wood glue not only takes 2 hours for preparatory work, but also smells very unpleasant). And, secondly, such adhesives take too long to glue - sometimes for 3-7 days! In our age of crazy speeds, few people can afford the “luxury” of such a long wait. Everyone wants to take a ready-made composition off the shelf and achieve results in a second. Therefore, of all the adhesives of organic origin, only carboxymethylcellulose can now be found on sale - an absolutely harmless adhesive for paper wallpaper. It is this glue that should be used when undertaking renovations in a nursery - it is non-toxic, safe and so environmentally friendly that it is even marked with a special green icon on the packaging.

Silicate glue: not for repair

As for the adhesives of the second group - silicate ones - although they are harmless, they have not performed at their best. Being aqueous solutions of sodium metasilicate, as a salt of a strong base and a weak acid, they hydrolyze and have a fairly strong alkaline reaction. The alkali eats away what was glued together. Therefore, paper, for example, quickly turns yellow and becomes fragile over time. Due to these features, it is better not to use silicate adhesives for repair work.

Moment-Epoxylin Metal

2 in 1 putty, similar in mechanism of action and release form to Super-Epoxylin, but designed specifically for metals. Contains metal shavings and dust, which promotes better adhesion to metal products.

The use of putty-glue is also similar to Super-Epoxylin. This glue can be used to both glue and sculpt surfaces, giving them any shape. After complete hardening, which occurs after 10 hours, the formed product or seam can be drilled, milled, painted, and generally perform actions with it similar to those that are possible with the material being glued.

Designed mainly for gluing and repairing metal products: iron, steel, including stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminum and its alloys, tin or lead. But it also glues porcelain, natural stone, wood, glass and their combinations just as well. Release form: 5 cylinders of 48 grams each in a cardboard package.

Specifications

The transparent adhesive composition is different:

• fast hardening of the seam (a few seconds);
• neat, invisible connection with high strength of the result;
• maximum level of adhesion, which occurs within a few minutes after compression of the parts;
• resistance to dampness, moisture;
• possibility of further painting (to decorate);
• for use on surfaces treated with household chemicals.

The seam hardens completely after 5 minutes. You can work with glue in the temperature range from -40 °C to +100 °C.

Moment-Epoxylin DUO

Universal adhesive for working with a wide variety of materials in the form of a plasticine-like two-component putty, for express gluing of parts made of wood, porcelain, earthenware, natural stone, glass and plexiglass, metals and their alloys, as well as for combinations of these materials.

Available in the form of cylinders with a neutral gray color, weighing 25 g, 2 pieces in a cardboard package.

When working with Momentm epoxy-based adhesives, follow all recommendations developed for these materials. In particular, try to remove drops of glue that protrude after compressing and fixing the parts to be glued with a swab moistened with acetone or ethanol. If you didn’t notice any drops of glue in time, clean them off with a scraper.

Regarding safety precautions, also follow the general rules for working with epoxy: room ventilation, eye and respiratory protection, rubber or silicone gloves on your hands.

Areas of use

Strong adhesion is guaranteed when combining ceramic, wood, porcelain and natural stone surfaces. It is also suitable for glass, leather, metal structures. They restore marble structures. At the same time, the details themselves may not be of the same type, for example, a leather decorative object and a mirror. After drying, the seam does not shrink or stretch, so it is not recommended for use on rubber objects. The adhesive composition is resistant to atmospheric factors and does not allow moisture to pass through.

You can use epoxy glue if necessary:

• firmly fix metal or concrete;
• correct the situation with fabric surfaces;
• fix the fiberglass;

• repair cracks on furniture, small dents on cars;
• eliminate leaks in pipes, tanks, plastic containers;
• restore the integrity of a porcelain figurine or any other interior detail.

Henkel brand adhesive is indispensable when working with plastic surfaces. It is not relevant when working with polyethylene and polypropylene parts. Contraindicated when working with Teflon or utensils in which food is prepared/served.
