Chaotic pattern

How to apply

It is better to paint the surface in several layers at once to get a richer, more luxurious color as a result. The consumption of materials will not change dramatically.
Classic
To get classic silk as a result, you should use a Venetian trowel. Immediately after processing the base layer, the texture is applied in wide, chaotic strokes.
Wet silk
If your goal is wet silk, the base layer should dry within four hours. The surface is painted with a special washer or plastic trowel. To create a feeling of shimmer, the finishing layer is applied in chaotic circular movements with different radii.
Crinkled silk
The most interesting and complex coloring option. The base layer is applied with a velor roller. It needs to dry for two hours. Then a pattern is added to the surface with a sea sponge, after which another, final layer is applied. The process ends by smoothing the wall with a standard plastic spatula.
To obtain the required result, the movements must be rotational and must not be interrupted.
How to apply on walls in an apartment
To get the desired result and give the interior a silky glow, you will need to carry out several steps. The following steps should be followed:
- Applying a primer, you need to purchase a special moisture-repellent primer; it is applied to the wall where the painting will be applied. The wall must be absolutely flat, without the slightest defects. If they are found, then the surface is first leveled, and only then a primer mixture is applied.
- Application of dye. This stage is started only after the surface has completely dried. They also carry out preliminary grouting and smoothing of the wall if there are any shortcomings.
- Varnish, protective varnish is applied to extend the service life of the coating. Varnish is especially necessary in rooms where there is high humidity; in principle, applying one layer can be done, but for the best effect it is recommended to use a two-layer coating.
